This song was playing in my cafeteria today and it was so sickening that I looked it up, simply to write a review. There is nothing in this abysmal filth to merit calling Britney Spears an "artist". This is not a matter of personal opinion. This is a professional, academic, and logical conclusion. One catchy lyric looped over one catchy beat does not a song make, no matter how many studio after-effects are piled on top of it. This music has no direction, no plot, and no development. The only thing this song accomplishes is removing any possible concept of art from what humanity considers an art form. As a person who spends 12 hours a day improving various aspects of my musicianship, I am appalled by pretentious Disney divas promoting themselves as "musicians". Britney Spears and her ilk are props and sex symbols. And there is nothing wrong with that, so long as that's what you call it. Instead they would have you put them on the same plinths as people who can actually sing and play instruments. Their success is wholly in the hands of the engineers who sculpt their recordings into something other than their natural klaxon-like wailing. If they didn't lip-sync in concerts their amplified voices would make ears bleed.
Let me reiterate: This rubbish and has the equivalent effect on culture as maggots on a decaying corpse.
If you like this "song", at least have the sense to credit the producers and engineers, not an immature degenerate who sells her dignity for millions.
If I could give it a 0 I would.
I know what the song is about, yet I can still barely make out 1/3 of the words. That being said, any time your day needs a boost, this is enough to lighten your spirits and get you techno-rockin!
This is a great song for any Britney fan! It's what she does best a sexy dance song, with a beat that you can not help but shake it to! I've been a Britney fan since she first stepped into the spotlight! I love her and personally think she can do no wrong. But if you're not a Britney fan (shame on you ;)) then you probably won't like this song because of the over sexed lyrics and the very computer enhanced sound. However I think it's a great dance song and another great hit for Brit!!!
"3" is Britney Spears' latest prefab pop. Unlike "Circus","Womanizer" and even "Radar",it's not even guilty pleasure material. It's bland,techno-it fits disposable bubblegum music. There's plenty of auto-tune. It's mediocre,bland--and forgettable. It's got a beat, but not much more. Spears' stylings have managed to stay the same since her beginnings in the late '90s. Her sound hasn't matured. "3" is a 2.
