Britney

This CD is probably one of the best early Britney Spears CDs ever released. The lyrics to many of the songs are very catchy, and the tune of all the selection of songs is very different. Some of the best songs are: Cinderella, Overprotected, Bombastic Love, and Anticipating. This is a must buy for any Britney Spears fans.

She needs to make mistakes to find out who she is.

This CD, Britney, is like the title implies - all about Britney.

In "Overprotected" and "What It's Like To Be Me" she tells us that we don't know what it's like to be famous all the time, but she does.

In "Lonely" and "Cinderella" she talks about a boy who used her to his own advantage that she never wants to see again.

However, in "Anticipating", "That's Where You Take Me", and "Bomastic Love", she talks about another boy that makes her feel great and like she actually matters.

Even though the cover of this CD really isn't that appropriate for kids under 13, most of the songs (except for Slave 4 U, That's Where You Take Me, and Boys. (Plus she uses the D word in Overprotected)) are actually very appropriate for children.

It's not a Britney CD you would most likely buy for your kids or if you're under 13, but it's still a pretty enjoyable album whether you've suffered a bad break up, are in love, or anything else. :)

Britney Spears's Official Britney Review

Heyy! It's me again. Today I will review the album "Britney".

I'm A Slave 4 U- I like this one a lot. It is her third best hit. It is very danceable and shows a more personal side of her, by the lyrics which clearly state not to treat her like a little girl, you got it Britney. 10/10

Overprotected- I like this one as well, especially in the beginning when she talks. This one is about not telling her what to do and lay back- don't watch her like a hawk. Very fun, danceable. 10/10

Lonely- This one is a little more rock-edgy. Not like shredding guitars or anthing like that but, more rockish for her. 7/10

I'm Not A Girl Not Yet A Woman- I like this one too. This one was from her debut movie, "Crossroads". It recived great airplay. It's a nice ballad about her growing up. A great slow-dance song. 9/10

Boys- This one is about how a girl needs a boyfriend to be in control. To my opinion, that is not true. Very danceable. Dance to it a a club. 8/10

Anticipating- This song has a very happy, little girl, bubblegum-cokkie cutter beat. She uses her soft voice even though it's an upbeat song. It kinda makes me feel uncomfortable, though. LOL. 6/10

I Love Rock 'N' Roll- OMG!!! Britney Spears butchered this song. Joan Jett yells, and screams, and plays shredding guitar solos in this song. Britney Spears adds rap, and the guitar sounds electrified, and the drums are slowed down. THIS SONG SUCKS!!! You will be laughing like I did when I heard the song. DON'T LISTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3/10

Cinderella- I like the beat to this one. It's kinda boring though. 5/10

Let Me Be- The guitar in the beginning is cool. This song is kinda mean, but has a happy beat. I think it's nice. Not danceable. 8/10

Bombastic Love- The beginning and the chorus are cool, but the verses don't fit in. 7/10

That's Where You Take Me- She uses her real voice in this one, and it sounds nice. One of my favorites. This one is actually a single, but recieved airplay in foreign countries only. Boo hoo. 10/10

What It's Like To Be Me- She's just complaining about how hard it is to be her, oh yeah, it's hard to be a million-aire. And her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake does beat-box while she sings, which in my opinion is lame. 6/10

I think they pushed her too fast

This album is ok but I think they tried to put it together too fast you can tell
